Arrival Story: While watching the last few episodes of Sex in the City, saw Charlotte with Elizabeth Taylor and commented to my fiance "what a neat dog". I was unfamiliar with the breed. He was, and said they were wonderful, affectionate, not yappy for a smallish dog. Two days later walked into the local corner pet store that occasionally has puppies, and there she was. Love at first sight. We talked about the possibility all weekend and separately went to see her on our lunch hour on Monday. As we walked in the door at 5 we simultaneously said, "she was still there at lunch" It was obvious she was ours. Or we were hers. Bio: Her coming home with us was the second big commitment we made. (First was shared cell phone service). We couldn't let her be a child of single parents of course, so we HAD to get married. Fergie was the Flower girl. WE're very happy to be getting ready for Christmas, Mom even put an indoor bathroom for Zumbi. She calls it a Christmas tree.
I do like the pretty bow I get to wear.
But this Christmas is tinged with sadness. Our good friend Poppy followed her sister Amber across the Rainbow bridge in less than 4 months. Her mummy is so sad. We put our paws together to pray for comfort for her and that Gracie will help her to heal.
All the best treats and hugs to all the furs out there.
Oh and love all the lovely picture cards we got from our furiends....
Just because HE has a real pedigry, and he got a ribbon I have put up with his glouting. Well actually I'm very proud of my baby brother, and the Toy show and seeing all my friends was lots of fun. Oh and though I should lose a bit o weight I got a clean bill of health for heart and knees at the health clinic.
Mommy and Daddy left us one night and didn't come back for almost a month...
I know, I have seen them go and come back. But it is never easy.
Tia Solange was there when we got up the next morning. And she takes real good care to give us our food and stuff, but it isn't the same. Daddy smells so good. I love to snuffle into the covers between his legs in the morning.
We did see them a bunch of times on the no-smell-box. They say "hey baby" but it doesn't smell like Mommy and Daddy it smells like plastic and tia Solange.
But they are home now. Chicken treats, laps and early morning big bed time.
Right now I'm on Daddy's lap and Zumbi is licking Mommy's feet. All's right with the world.
