Favorite Toy: Snuperagee, the orangatang. It growls and has wonderful long, dragable arms. I recently rediscovered my very first toy, the green dog. It was bigger than me when i came home and now I can totatly dominate it.
Favorite Food: Chicken treats, chicken livers, CHEESE. Shrimp. Polished off about a dozen purloined at Mom and Dad's wedding.
Favorite Walk: The neighborhood.
Best Tricks: A perfect Sit Up for a treat. Go Watch, run to the window when I'm not allowed to go for the ride.
Arrival Story: While watching the last few episodes of Sex in the City, saw Charlotte with Elizabeth Taylor and commented to my fiance "what a neat dog". I was unfamiliar with the breed. He was, and said they were wonderful, affectionate, not yappy for a smallish dog. Two days later walked into the local corner pet store that occasionally has puppies, and there she was. Love at first sight. We talked about the possibility all weekend and separately went to see her on our lunch hour on Monday. As we walked in the door at 5 we simultaneously said, "she was still there at lunch" It was obvious she was ours. Or we were hers.
Bio: Her coming home with us was the second big commitment we made. (First was shared cell phone service). We couldn't let her be a child of single parents of course, so we HAD to get married. Fergie was the Flower girl.

The Cat:: I also have a "brother," that happens to be a Cat, Ferrugem. He has taught me the finer points of sitting up high, like on back of the sofa. And always leaves me a bit of the Chicken of the Sea tuna Mom gives him every morning.
Yup I did. Did everything just fine at my final exam. The teacher said I was awesome. This still isn't the CGC. It's like having your final exam and then having to take the bar., but now I KNOW I can do it.
Daddy liked going to class so much with me we're going to start something called rally fundamentals next week.
Zumbi is still in puppy kindergarden you know. But someday he'll grow up and graduate too.
When I first started obedience class I thought, I've had my own way for 4 years why change now. Particularly the Settle command,,, Bow to a mere human? But more I did it the more I liked it. Daddy is sooooo proud of me and I love making him happy. Prancing next to him on a Let's Go. Stopping and sitting sooooo pretty. I may just get that CGC certificate in a couple of weeks. Then I'll be an educated lady.
I still get to come into the bed in the morning. I still get to sleep on the back of the couch with Daddy.
The only big change is if I don't get to my lunch right away that little one is over there trying to eat it. Bit of a pest.
But I'm getting used to him. Even letting him cuddle up to me in the big bed in the mornings.
BTW I am doing just fine at school. Took me a couple of weeks to ACCEPT "settle" but now I'm just fine. Daddy is so proud of me. I didn't win the halt-sit contest, but I came in 3rd. Not bad for a slightly older than the rest of the class lady.
