Leave a bone for Old Feller

Arrival Story:
This poor old guy was found at the dump station where I go to take my trash; he has been at my house now only a week (April 1 2008) & has settled right in!
He has some skin problems, his eyes are clouding, he looks to have testicular cancer, and he has about 4 teeth.
I am simply providing him a quiet place to hang out for awhile. He likes my cats, Gray & Homey, and the cur dog Marlena that I've had for several months now (another throwaway).
His smile is huge, his bay joyous, his appetite "gorsh, mine??" & I'd like anyone reading this to send this old fella some good thoughts.
******Feller gamely hung on despite myriad health problems. On July 28, I was forced to call Animal Control to come for him, as he had wandered off, then returned here, shot, & was suffering. Everyone smile for the few months of extra life he enjoyed here on the farm.****** Feller was about 11 years old...............

Animal Control took him to the Humane Society to be treated for his wounds, and they now have him up for adoption! Isn't this WONDERFUL?? I think so! : )
