Too much party

UGH :( I guess I partied too hard on my birthday. I love sweets, and cakes so much, I don't want to stop eating. I was really sick when I got up this morning. Mom had to clean out my crate because I had to throw up a lot. I guess my cake was just too much for me. Mom felt really bad. She said that she knows I have a sensitive tummy, but she wanted me to feel special on my birthday. I got lots of extra love today, but no treats. Mom said I had to wait a whole day before I get ANY treats. Bummer. Oh well, at least I got plenty of lovin' and lots of scritches! I still say I had a great birthday! Maybe next year I won't have a treat hangover!

It's My Birthday!

Today is my 4th birthday!! My mom says I'm a big dog now! I still like to act like a puppy though!

My mom is great! She brought home all kinds of goodies to celebrate! I got a birthday cake, and some of my favorite treats. I got a new rope toy, and a new stuffie. She also brought me a new elk antler. That made me so excited! Mom threw my old antler away because it got too small. She thought I would choke on it. What a worry wart! I had some good chewing time left on that antler! Oh well, now I have a brand new one to chew!

Mom made me put on a stupid, frilly party collar, and a matching birthday hat and made me stand still and get my picture taken. How embarrassing. I did not like standing still, especially when I could see all of my goodies on the table behind her! I was so happy when she was done and I was able to get into my pressies!

I had such a great day today! Too bad I can't get this kind of loot everyday! Oh well, it just gives me something to look forward to next year! Yaaaaayyyyyy!

Just in time for my B-Day!

Well, they finally did find out what was wrong with my mom. It took months, and several wrong theories, but the Doc's now know that my mom has a herniated disc in her lower back, and a couple of pinched nerves too. They are treating her, and she is feeling better. She is still at home all day with me and I loooovvveee it!!! I'm glad she feels better. Especially since my birthday is next month. Is that selfish? I don't think so. I'm glad she feels good, even if my birthday wasn't around the corner! Stay tuned for updates on birthday loot!

Good News, Bad News

Well the good news is that there is nothing wrong with my mom's kidneys! The urologist said that her kidney's are functioning normal, and all the tests and images appear normal as well. That's great! The bad news is that they still don't know what is making her feel so icky. Her regular doctor ran more tests, and told her to just rest so she doesn't make her back her worse. Hopefully everything will get back to normal soon. I do have to admit though, I like having my mom at home with me all the time! It's nice to catch up on our snuggle time!

Prayers for my mom

Hi everyone! Usually I write good news, but today I want to get prayers for my mom. She just got out of the hospital, and they think there is something wrong with her kidneys. It's not kidney disease, and they think it's reversible, but for now she's in a lot of pain, and can't take any pain medicine (including Tylenol, and Advil). She's worried about this, but she's also worried about the bills that's piling up, and the fact that not being able to work means she doesn't get a good paycheck. If everyone who reads this will keep her in their prayers, then everything should work out in time! Thanks everyone! I'll post updates on my mom when we get them!

Dog's Fun Forum Dog of the Day

YAY!! I'm the dog of the day in the group Dog's Fun Forum! Thanks for choosing a great picture Luckee! I thought I was getting away with the toy that I stole! I didn't realize mom was standing there with her camera!! I've got to be more sneaky next time. Of course, if I'm too sneaky, she won't be able to get such cute pictures! Who am I kidding, I look great in any shot!! Definitely more sneaky next time. I wonder if she knows that I was the one who took that teddy bear last week..... Oh well, finder's keeper's, loser's weepers!

Spring break is over :(

I am sooo sad. My mom, and my furless sister, were on Spring Break all week last week, but now my mom has been leaving every morning to go to work, and my best friend went back to school. I had so much fun going to the park, and the pet store, and just hanging out at home. I got to lay in my mom's lap, and watch TV, and I got extra treats!! Now I have to stay in my "area" so I don't get in trouble, and I can't lay with my mom until she gets home. Oh well, there's always the weekend!!!!

My playmate's back!!

I am so excited! My best human friend is here for a visit! Alyssa gets to come every weekend, and I'm always excited to see her! I try to be sooo good, but sometimes I get too excited, and then I get in trouble. But not this time, I'm going to be really good. My mom decided that since I was being so good, she would let Alyssa walk me in the yard. I didn't jump, or run away, or even pull her down!! Everyone was so proud of me, they gave me treats (but they were smaller than the ones I normally get, my mom thinks I need to be on a diet yuck). Mom even got the camera out and took pictures of us, and then put them on my Dogster page so that all my friends could see how sweet I was being! This is going to be a great weekend!

I am loving Dogster so much!! I have made new friends, and everyone is so very helpful! I have so much fun in my groups, and with my new friends. My mom is worried about my front legs, but I'm not sure why. I haven't told her that anything hurts. Maybe I'm being too brave, and I just don't want her to know. I still love to play, and right now, I'm trying to steal some treats. Darn it!! She caught me! :( Maybe if I sit really still and look handsome she'll give me one anyway. Success!!! Introduction to Dogster

YAYY!! My mom has just signed me up for Dogster!! I am so excited to meet new friends!! I love playing with everyone, even teeny dogs.
