Today there were a couple firsts;

I had my first bath, wasn't too happy about it but mommy got in the tub with me and kept telling me what a good and beautiful girl I was and she didn't wash my face at all or splash water so I didn't get scareded ~ just wasn't too sure about the whole bath business ~ she had the heat turned up in the house and wrapped me in a big towel when we were done and toweled me off really good and gave me lots of hugs and kisses then cuddled under the blankies with me for a long time till I fell asleep. Hmmm okay, maybe a bath isnt' that bad, I'll let you know though.

I also went for a longer walk with mommy today and when we came to a curb she would ask me to stop and sit and I did and got a TREAT! We did this even when we were running, when we came to a curb no matter how much we were running we stopped and I sat and got a treat, mmmmm, wonder how long a walk I can handle if there area a LOT of curbs and a LOT of treats?

Mommy is amazed at me more every day and she is trying real hard to be the bestest mommy she can be for me, she tells me about her past doggies and she gets sad but then she sees me do something smart or cute and she cheers up. (I got a pit from the local animal shelter where I used to live, had him a month and bonded so much, he was a year old, I came home one day and my (ex) boy-friend told me he ran away, come to find out he sold him :( ~ bet no one has to wonder why he's my ex)

Mommy is reading a magazine called "Training Secrets for Bully Breeds" cause she has not dealt with a puppy in a long time and wants me to be a happy, healthy puppy and a good representative of my Pit side of heritage.

That was another first for us today, when we were walking a lady pulled her child into the house when she saw me, she was a good 50 feet away and I am only a bitty puppy ~ hmmph ~ I'll show her, I'll be the best behaved doggie there ever was!
