Coming Out of My Shell

Day 6

No new members on Dukester. I appear to be more popular amongst my sisters pals than my own. Thank you too all Sheila's friends who have so graciously accepted me. But Dukesters come on, we need to stick together and stand for and befriend one another. There have been 2 new Dukes added to Dogster since Thursday and I've invited them to join. I expect good things from this group so bark up and join in. Please my ego depends on it.

Oh it's not looking sooo good for Dukesters. We only got 1 new member and no one is chatting. Whats a dog got to do to get pups excited. I invited 3 new Dukes to join and my little sister did something sweet. She posted on one of her groups about Dukester and my mission. Some Bosties from Pawsatively Bostylicious gave me love and invited me to be an honorary bostie. I am happy about that, but my mind is on my mission. Now if only I could find someone who knew how to do those ID card thingies.

We've got 11 new member on Dukesters. A few have introduced themselves, but there is still much work to be done. I posted a game and hopefully everyone will join in. So far today no new Dukes have been added to Dogster. I am feeling a little more confident. I want to give a shout out to Duke the Boerboel who is my big dukester pal.

Day 1

I was feeling really down, because Roxy and Sheila had been invited to join groups and had pals who were specifically their friends, but I didn't. Sheila had gotten rosettes and I had none. I feel like the odd man out, the third wheel. I am so lonely. I am shy by nature, I didn't chose to be this way. I want friends too. So I became a man on a mission. First I searched for other dogs of my breed, there are on 12 on all of dogster, odds are not in my favour, however I sent pal requests to all of them. Still no pals. Then I did a search for shy dogs. Again not too many results. Finally I just went into the forums homepage and began to look down the list for a group I'd fit into, Aha Dukesters, perfect. I joined immediately. But the group was dead, there were no posts since like January. Ugh. Then the idea came to me, I will personally invite every Duke I can find to join Dukesters, thereby increasing the activity in the group and my own popularity. Today I sent 40 invites to Dukes across the world. I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.
