Arrival Story: We had lost our beloved Freddy of cancer a little over a month ago and started looking for another dog as our other beagle, Sophie, was very lonely and a bit depressed. So we went on good ol' petfinder and started to look. We came across Elliot, a male beagle, and went down to the SPCA to check him out on Easter Sunday. We ended up bringing him home! We had him for a few days and came across a very vicious side and it scared my mother. He didn't have trust with anyone but myself, so we had to return him. My father went back on petfinder hoping to find a "nicer" beagley. We came across a handsome male beagle by the name of Chance and contacted the rescue. On April Fools Day [ha!] we drove down to New York with Ms. Sophie to go visit. He quickly won our hearts, and with Sophie's approval, he was brought home that day. After a tiring ca trip home, he is here to stay! Chance is a sweetheart and him and Sophie became instant friends! Bio: Chance is a very bouncy beagley boy! He is a very happy fellow and goes with the flow. He actually wags his 'butt' and his tail! It is the funniest thing! He is a true clown....it fits that we came to get him on April's Fools Day. It suits him perfectly. Chance sleeps with me at night and, we came to figure out that he loves pillows! He will try to sleep on your head if there's a pillow underneath you! He also is very submissive. If you tell him "bad" or "no" he will start to suck up to you like it was the worst thing in the world! He is a very pretty dog, my mother says the prettiest male dog we've had [sorry Fred, Barney & Eli!]. We determined that his face looks a bit like a sea-lion's smile.
