Leave a bone for Zoe Birthday: March 10th 2007 Bio: Hi. My name is Zoe. I am a one year old, gorgeous flashy dark red fawn, spayed female boxer.
My first family neglected me and kept me in a crate all the time.
The people that took me away from them called the GOBR people to see if they could foster me because they already had a house full of rescue dogs.
So now I am at my new foster home and have a 5 yr. old boxer sister and an old grumpy blue heeler grandma. I love to play with my sister and I can out run her and wear her out!!!!! But when she quits I quit also....
The old grumpy grandma yells at me and tries to bite me if I touch her, but I just back off and try to stay out of her way. (My foster mom says grandma is the alpha and blind and that is why she is so grumpy.) But I don't care I love my new home and love all the new people I get to meet.
I am also good with kids and cats. If I start to get a little rowdy, my foster mom just says my name and I settle down.
I'm pretty good on the leash if you want to go for a walk. And I'm crate trained. Just throw a dog biscuit into the crate and in I go!!
The people that rescued me said I can jump a 6 foot fence, but then I just ran to the front door to be let into the house. I just want to be with my human friends. My foster mom lets me outside in a fenced yard with my foster sister and I've never tried to jump, but I can if I want to.
I'm almost housebroken. My foster mom said if I could just tell her when I need to go out to go potty I would be a perfect dog. I'm trying really hard to learn. I want to be perfect!!!!
I hardly snore when I sleep and will rarely give little kisses. Usually I just want to bump noses with my foster mom.
I just got back from the vets with a clean bill of health, heartworm neg. and parasite free. My foster mom said I was a real lady even when they poked me with needles, cut my toe nails and sprayed stuff up my nose.
I'm looking for a forever home with lots of love, attention and playtime. I will make you proud of me. Could that someone be you? I've Been On Dogster Since:
