He doesn't do tricks on command but he likes me to throw the bear on the floor so he can pounce it.

Arrival Story:
I wanted to adopt a greyhound so I hooked up with one of the local rescue groups. They would meet up outside of a pet store every weekend with different "foster" dogs. The second time I went to check out the dogs Jack walked up to me, leaned on me with his head on my hip and wouldn't leave my side, even when other strangers would come and pet him. He stole my heart right then and there. So really he chose me as his guardian! I'm glad he did because our personalities match perfectly and we are extremely close.

Bio:
He was racing at the tracks in South Florida. I think he retired around the age of 4 and I adopted him when he was 5. Others had tried to adopt him before but it didn't work out (due to their stupidity, not his behavior).

The Last Forum I Posted In:
Do any of you greys out there not get on the couch?

He's kinda large for a grey... average of 75 lbs. Black with a small patch of white on his chest. His face is turning white due to aging. I'm not sure how tall he is but I'm 5'8 and his head comes to my waist when he stands straight with head/neck up.
