Mommy and Daddy brought home a new puppy, Maggie. I am not 100% happy about this. I don't like to be around her very much. It's been really cold outside, but I don't want to go back in because the new puppy is in there. I'd rather stay outside in the snow where it's only me. It was ok when Maggie didn't know how to come up the stairs, so I had the whole second floor to myself. But Maggie figured out stairs now, so I don't have many places to get away.

I know I'm making Mommy sad because I refuse to come inside. She yelled at me last night about it. Apparently it's "800 degrees below zero", whatever that means. I am part Husky, I can take the cold! Brrrrrrrrr.

The new puppy is loud and talkative too. I don't know what to do with that. I don't talk. I'm a quiet girl. I hope I can help Maggie learn all the rules of the house and maybe become friends with her. Mommy says it will all be okay in time.

Hi everyone. Woof woof!

Welcome to my diary.

I wanted to write today about how much I miss the cat. My parents moved into a house and took on a roommate. Their roommate, Aunt Jenny, has a cat, Coco. I love to chase Coco around the house. She's fast, but she keeps me on my toes. Lately she's been gone. I miss her. I've heard she misses me too.

But, I am really glad we got the house. I have a nice backyard and a soccer ball I can run after. There are puppies next door and we run up and down the fence together. I am still not sure about the neighbors on the other side. They don't have puppies, but Mommy assures me they are ok. Plus I love going up and down the stairs.

Well, I gotta go look for the cat.

*owner note: the cat is gone b/c our roommate is house sitting for a few weeks. She'll be back very soon Bosey.
