Jersey loves to play with me; anytime she can get my attention, she will. She also loves to fetch, and will have me throw her tennis ball as often as possible. She loves swimming and going to the dog park.

Jersey loves any kind of ball: tennis, football, volleyball, tether ball, you name it, she's game to play with it.

Jersey loves steak, and basically any kind of people food. She really enjoys carrots and apples too.

Favorite Walk:
I think she likes the walk from the car to the dog park the best. Or at least that is where she pulls the hardest.

Arrival Story:
My husband and I adopted our dog Truman on a Sunday, but did not get to take him home until Thursday. We wanted 2 dogs, so during that time, we began searching the internet for another pet. At the time, I wanted a beagle, and I found Jersey on petfinder.com listed under beagle. When I called, the group, Tassie's Hope, told me that she was about to be adopted, so I kept looking at other dogs. A day or two later, they called back and said the adoption fell through, so my husband and I went to look at her, and it was love at first site. Tassie's Hope got her from an abusive owner, so it took a little time for her to trust me, but now she follows me everywhere. She is definitely MY dog.
