 Quick Bio:
Likes: Charlie LOVES attention and will do anything to get it. If left alone he occupies himself by eating anything and everything - mud, tree bark, bugs, treats, my socks, rawhide

Pet-Peeves: being alone, going to sleep in his kennel instead of in bed with mom

Favorite Toy: Baby Sheep (R.I.P.) and Pink Shoe, any stuffed animal he can baby before he tears its head off

Favorite Food: Pupperoni treats, ice, and POPCORN

Favorite Walk: anywhere

Best Tricks: Charlie is a wiley one - he'll slip under your legs if you're not watching. He is also good at walking on the living room window sill.

Arrival Story: I rescued Charlie after my number one boy Buster Brown was hit by a car and killed. I saw this cutie at the DFW Humane Society (where they named him Snoopy - ick.) and he was so playful I thought he'd be fun. In the car ride home he was calm and quiet in the backseat and once I got him home he slept like a baby. The next day I met the REAL Charlie - wild, untrained, and desperate for attention. He drove me and my two roommates nuts; trying to control this dog was like trying to carry water in a basket! I was begining to wonder if I had made a huge mistake. But we worked and worked and I was determined not to give up on him. After a very bumpy start, Charlie Boy and I are now like peas and carrots.

Bio: I wish we knew where he came from but his early months of life are a mystery. All I know is that he was abandoned. I've only had him since late August 2004 so I'm learning more about him every day. He has occasional "attacks of the crazy" as I call them - he is the most energetic dog I've ever had. He is a typical border collie type A personality. If he were a human he'd be a professional wrestler or boxer because he can really use those paws to sock you good so watch out! But don't worry it's all in fun - he is gentle as a lamb.
UPDATE 11/04: Charlie's new favorite thing is destroying anything and everything in the yard while I'm away. Anyone have a sheep farm we can visit so he can learn how to "work" the farm?!? :-) Total attention hog, still needs to be loved at all times but I think he's finally learning we're in it for the long haul.

Forums Motto: Never too tired to play fetch
