Arrival Story:
Ubu was our pick of the litter when her daddy, Rocky, sired a litter of 6 puppies. We chose her because she was the first to climb out of the box and the first to attempt to climb stairs.....she is a smarty pants.

Bio:
Ubu has bad hips from jumping out of windows, after opening them herself when we weren't home. She has been operated on for cancer on top of her front right paw 3 years in a row. We couldn't consent to amputation which would have eliminated any future surgeries because her hips are so bad and she wouldn't have been able to walk without her both front legs. The cancer is coming back again but no more surgery for Ubu. She is almost 12 so we will just keep her as comfortable as we can for whatever time she has left with us. Ubu made her journey to the Rainbow Bridge on Friday, September 12, 2008 in the caring arms of her human family that she loved. She is missed terribly but her loving spirit will always be in our hearts. She was a great companion and friend and a sweet, sweet girl.
