Arrival Story:
She was a gift from my mother-in-law that breeds yorkies in Arizona. She came for a visit and brought her to me. I had fallen in love with Sky's mom, Minuet, when I had visited Arizona. I told her that if Mini ever had pups, I wanted a girl. Sky was the only girl in the last litter of Mini, so she brought her to me! Now I love and adore this spoiled rotted pup.

Bio:
She was adopted into a family with 2 cats, and after her mommy and daddy divorced, she moved into a home with her two cat-sisters that had 2 more cats! Oh my goodness! Now she was a princess in the kingdom of felines. She thinks she is one at times..lol. She loves to play with them though and the younger cats have become her close buddies. She gets canned dog-food and occassional lunchmeat, and at least one or two pupperoni's a day, but she will still munch on the dry cat food. She won't have anything to do with dry dog food of any sort..lol.

Forums Motto:
Thinks she's 10 ft tall and bulletproof!

My New Haircut!

My mommy scalped me! She calls it a puppy cut, I call it a scalping! I have no fur left! I must admit it is a lot cooler for the hot and humid summer we have had here in Tennessee, but geez! Mommy and Nana say I look sooooo pretty. I was just glad it was all over with. There is nothing worse than a bath, but to have a bath AND a haircut was horrible! I thought mom would never be done. It does feel nice and cool and I am not panting as much, and it is nice to be able to snuggle with mom and not get hot, but I will never admit it. OH! the horror, woe is me! Oh well, it will grow back by winter and I should have a nice, warm, pretty coat for Santa. Now if I could figure out how to get rid of those baths...... Hmmmmmm. Bye for now! Ruff!

Oh my goodness! I decided to stage a revolt and protest my food. Mommie melted some butter and mixed it in and oh my goodness it was good, and good for my coat too! Real butter! YuMMmMmMm! I know I am spoiled, but it's not my fault. How can you go and put real butter in somepup's food and then not expect to have it demanded again?? Come on Mom's! Luckily my mommie listens to me most often. Except lately, she thinks I am getting a little chunky so she cut me back!!! Oh the horror!!! And the treats have become few and far between too!!! Oh Heaven help me!!! Maybe if I can get her to play more, she will cave. Say a prayer for me, I miss the butter!!!

My Tail of Devotion for Skyla

My Skyla.....
She is my angel and my saving grace. She keeps me sane in a world of madness. I have never had human children, only furry ones. Sky has been the love of my life for the past 7 1/2 yrs. She came to me as a gift from God above. I fell in love with her puppy mom and asked for a little girl out of her litter. Sky was the only girl in what would be her mommy's last litter. God saved her for me. She was a wedding gift, and I am sorry to say, her love for mommy outlasted daddy's, but that's another story and this is about my baby! I praise God for her love and devotion to her mommie, her nana, her Manda and her grampa. She even secretly loves the 3 cats..LOL. She never fails to bark and jump and get excited when I come home, even if I am only gone for a few minutes, you would think I had been gone all day. She makes me play when I am down, cuddles when I am sick and tries to get me to run around in circles and roll on the floor when I take a bath! She loves me unconditionaly and completely. I give my devotion to her, my angel in fur.
