Likes: Being with my family, shredding things, going for walks, playing outside, doing tricks, and watching Little House on the Prairie.
Pet-Peeves: When people (or pups) stop playing with me... what fun is that? Also, when people post goofy looking pictures of me on dogster! Then there are watermelons... let's not even talk about those.
Favorite Toy: I love all of them! I like to play with anything new... even plastic containers, lids, bottles, etc.
Favorite Food: I love cheese, peanut butter, and bugs!
Favorite Walk: I like to go around the block and walk by my friend Buddy's house. I also love to run and play in the snow!
Best Tricks: Stay, Roll Over, Leave It, Drop It, High Five, Wave, Dance, Catch, Play Piano
Arrival Story: My forever family wanted some sort of cocker spaniel mix that would not shed. Some friends of theirs had a miniature schnauzer, and after meeting her and seeing how sweet she was, they decided to see if they could find a "Schnocker", which is a mix of the two breeds. Meanwhile, I was playing with all of my brothers and sisters in Missouri. Sometimes the cats would jump on us. My mom was a cocker, and was owned by my breeder. My dad was the neighbor's dog. So, yes, I was an accident, but my forever family thinks I'm a blessing. Then, one very cold day, they put me on an airplane, and a while later I was with my new family!

I've Been On Dogster Since:
Nellie's visit to my house is almost over. She is going back home on Thursday. I am glad we get to go for a car ride to meet her mom and dad, but I think I will miss Nellie. She is starting to get used to me, and we played together for almost one second last night. Catherine says we could play longer, except I pull on the toys to hard, and Nellie can not keep a hold of them.
Sometimes I drive her nuts, but I know she loves me!
My cousin, Nellie, is staying at our house for three weeks! Catherine is going to puppy sit her while her mommy and daddy go on vacation. Nellie is a maltese, and she is 5 years old and so cool! She thinks I am a baby and gets scared if I run at her really fast, but I am doing better to give her some space. Catherine is really proud of me and thinks that maybe Nellie and I will even be buddies by the end of the three weeks. I hope so, 'cause I sure love to play! It is fun to have a puppy pal stay over! Well, catch you later!
Love,
Allie
Today I learned what summer is all about! This is my first summer ever, and I think it's wonderful. Catherine and I went outside this morning, and she put water in my blue kiddie pool and put me inside. I was nervous, so I jumped out right away, but then Catherine showed me it was okay. She put her feet in the water, and set me in again. This time I was not afraid, and I walked around and drank some of the water. Then, she started throwing my toys into the pool, and I played with them. Sometimes I would jump in "save" them from the water.
Then, Catherine decided to do some work while I was playing, and she started weeding the flower garden and digging to get ready to plant flowers. I decided to be a big girl and help her! I am good at digging, so I dug in the dirt right next to where Catherine was digging. Then, she went to pull weeds over by the bushes, and I went to help. I got very dirty, so Catherine put me back in my pool to rinse me off.
After that, we went to Wal-mart to pick out some pretty flowers. We got purple, yellow, and white. I wanted to help plant them in our flower bed, but Catherine said I could not, and she gave me doggie ice cream to eat instead.
Finally, we played with the hose. Catherine sprayed me and got me all wet! I barked and ran around, but I didn't run away because I thought it was really fun. I kept getting close to the hose to get all wet again! Then it was time for a bath and a nap. I am so tired!....but I think summer is a very good thing!
