Arrival Story:
My boyfriend wanted a dog, and knowing him, he'd just have gone to the nearest pet store and picked out some poor pup. So I took it upon myself to search out a great breeder. We searched far and wide and eventually settled on a great hobby breeder out in Washington state, whose dogs have ranked in the top 10 of their breed in AKC shows.
Luna was flown out to us at 11 weeks old and our house has never been the same since...
Bio:
Luna is a bossy little girl, just like we expected from a Miniature Pinscher. She will let you know she is the boss, even though she is the smallest dog in our home. She is a -small- miniature pinscher at just 10.5" at the shoulders and 7.5lbs, but she certainly doesn't act it. She will literally try to tell you what she would like. If you are sitting holding your knees, she will arrooo--roooo to you telling you, "Hey! I wanna sit on your lap so lower those knees!" She loves to go to the park and play with dogs of all sizes. She's not so good at ball retrieving (she likes to chase, but not bring back.. she is a ratter, after all), but with Lilith by her side, the ball eventually will find its way back to us (in Lilith's mouth). We opted not to crop her ears, so she has the biggest ears that are self-standing.
Luna is currently having the biggest crush on my little sister's boyfriend. When she knows he's coming over (we have a cue word) she'll just squeal with delight, unable to contain herself!

I ABSOLUTELY refuse to back down, even when he fits me into his mouth!!!!

Yesterday, mom was ROYALLY mad at me. Mom and dad took Lilith and me to the beach for their weekend date. Lantis has chemo coming up this week so mom didn’t want to stress Lantis out with the long ride so she had her sister come by and spend some time with Lantis.
Well anyway, recently mom was pretty happy with me, because I seemed to be getting used to the airline carrier more and more (mom started about 1 month ago getting me used to it). Mom left me a bully stick and had already taken me potty and to the park to tire me out in the morning. She and dad went to have dinner. Well when they got back, they were locked out of the room! Mom tried a million times and finally went down to front desk. Front desk told mom that although dogs are allowed, they have to be crated when nobody is in the room, and that in the room there was a loose dog who was barking at the door. He went upstairs with us and as soon as the man opened the door out I came.. Mom checked my carrier and I had dug a huge hole straight through the front of the mesh panel!
Mom was SO ANGRY. Mom and dad were also in the middle of dinner.. mom just came upstairs to give Lilith her painkillers. Mom kept saying that Lilith was a ‘good girl’ who was quiet and patient, and she kept giving me dirty looks. Mom had dad take me (really angrily) down to the car because now I couldn’t stay in the hotel anymore because I didn’t have a carrier to stay in anymore.
Then mom and dad had a fight because mom wanted to go home then. But dad already booked the hotel and paid a lot. And they didn’t even finish dinner and it was their first date in over a month. I didn’t feel bad.. while mom and dad was arguing in the car, I kept whining in my seat belt. Dad got so angry he said, “Luna is sleeping in the car tonight and that’s too bad for her.”
Mom always heard that it was no good to leave your dog in the car, but yesterday she did. I hope she feels bad about it. It was 50F at last night so it was temperate and I was in a secured garage. But still.. ugh.
Dad is mad too.. he says now he has to buy me a new carrier even though he has to save money for the actual vacation and not my stuff. Dad also kept saying, “Luna is almost 2 years old! I can’t believe this! How many times has she stayed in her crate and this carrier.. this is so ridiculous!”
Well, I’ll just say right now that I’m sorry and really ashamed. I better behave myself or maybe dad will take me to a kennel instead if I’m going to be this bad for their entire winter break… :T

Never thought mom would say that to me. Lots of times she is rolling her eyes at me or sighing out loud at my antics. I know she likes my antics.. psh.
But Lilith isn't home tonight and mom is spoiling Lantis rotten. He even thinks that whenever dad orders pizza, his dinner is coming.
Mom has *never* tolerated such bad manners. She tells me Lantis is sick, just doesn't act it. Well, yeah, he doesn't act it, I know. I mean, we fought today and I was mad at him. How dare he steal my Kong??
