Arrival Story:
In August of 1993 my Daddy's niece asked him if he would like to have one of the Basset puppies she had. She said she only had one left and Daddy having wanted to get a dog, of course said yes. I came to live with my Daddy and to change his life.

In the mid 1990s my Daddy read an article in Life magazine about the Michigan Basset Waddle that had just happened the previous year. This was a place where hundreds of Bassets came together for a walk-a-thon to raise lots of moola to help homeless and abused Basset hounds. Daddy knew I just had to go there. So the next May we set out for Birmingham Michigan with lots of moola and pawticipated in our first of many Great American Waddles. In 2005 Daddy thought I should be Waddle Royalty and so we bid on the Queenship but the price was too steep for Daddy that year and I settled for the Lady In Waiting position and my adopted sister Daisey Mae got to be the Court Jester. In 2006 we went back better prepared and I got to become 2006 MBR Waddle Queen Sadie Sue. I got to ride in a beautiful horse drawn carriage and take my Daddy with me. Along with King George E Grunt we helped many homeless and abused hounds to find their forever loving homes.
