Arrival Story:
My daughter originally adopted Max but quickly realized that a little bitty baby and 3 1/2 old son were a bit too much. So "Mawmaw" and "Jim" took the baby. He runs the house, monitors the rabbit's activities and watches the two cats who live outside guarding the place.

Broken Legs:
Max has two broken legs right now and is making the best of it. This is a lesson to all of our small dog owners - it is SO EASY for them to get hurt when you are doing the simple things and "forgot" to watch out for the little one - 100% of the time. My motto will be "kennel" when you don't have 100% attention focused on precious Max.

I love my mommy, I love my mommy, I love my mommy - but it almost got me in BIG trouble. My mommy went out to mow the yard and I slipped out the door behind her. She didn't know I was outside and she started that big old lawn mower that made a BIG LOUD noise. I started running and I didn't stop until after I had run a mile away from my house.

My mommy and daddy were sick - mommy cried and daddy threw up. I didn't know they were so sad - I was just SO SCARED.

My mommy put out fliers and they both combed the neighborhood, fliers were hung, neighbors were looking . . .and THEN!!

This man that picked me up called my mommy and said I had been found. . . YIPPEE I WAS GOING HOME!!!

My mommy came and got me and I haven't been out of her site much since. I don't go out the door anymore - when mommy says "stay" - she means it and I don't want to get lost anymore.
