Arrival Story:
After losing our Lady " Bess" we grieved but still had Becky to keep us focused but after losing my Becky in October 2007 we were devastated and grieved for both together. We had said NO MORE DOGS lol as I am sure we all do in that moment of Pain, but I weakened as the months rolled on I became a Grandma which is fabulous but still at home it was too clean (never thought I would say that) and too quiet and walks were boring and people gave me funny looks walking along the beach ( crying mostly lol) as if your a mental if your on your own. Anyway my hubbie got sick of my miserable face and relented and oh my goodness we hit the jackpot Meg is !!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) but I love her to bits. I got her from a farm near Haltwhistle in Northumberland, UK I picked her up and since the day she came home her and I are together 97% of the time and I can't imagine being without her .

Training

I am doing very well with my obedience training, still having a few hiccups in the house especially when ppl visit , I get so excited and I don't want to sit down and let them come in I want to Jump all over them again and again and again . My mam doesn't seem to like this but I still love it , she says certain ppl who don't listen to her will not be allowed to visit for a while till I am better behaved ???? whats that then?.
We go to a class on a Sunday afternoon and it's great I know when I have been good cause I get to play down the fields with my new best friend Harvey he's a bc too but 3 months younger than me I am teaching him to run in circles and crash into my mams legs.
I love watching the older Dogs practising their agility after my class but I just want to get in there I know I could do it , apparently I have to be a bit older but sometimes if they are finished the nice man lowers the jumps down and I get to have a try can't wait to have a proper go ttfn Meg x

My Mate Narla

Hiya friends,
Today my mam took me to a huge field and her daughter in law (whats that anyway!! ) took her dog who is called Narla, we haven't ran round together properly because my mam always said Narla was like a train and I was too little. She decided I could have a go for a short while and whoopee it was great except when Narla tagged me and I rolled over like a mental coconut.
People were looking at us funny as we left the field and headed down on the beach ( Narla is a Staffie) , my mam gets annoyed at the way ppl think Narla is some kind of danger as if she would let anyone or thing near me that was.
Narla is a push over but I suppose only we know that, anyway we had a great time but my mam isn't very good at keeping the camera still when we are running , I look so good I am as big as Narla now and she is 5 years old but she is fast my puppy legs tried to keep up and we jumped in the Sea but this thing called a wave got me when I was not looking and I was drenched , I was so happy I ran straight to my mam and went through her legs then around her again , I shook for good measure because she laughed so much at her soaking jeans I thought she wanted me to do it some more so I did .
I had a great time and my mam thinks she might !!!!! be able to put the short video she managed on here but no one hold their breath
later xx

I love Bikes

We had to take my dad to work this morning so my mam decided we should just go straight to the beach instead of home and then go out. I love the beach I can run and run and run and I can jump around in the Sea and thats so much fun. It's funny how I always want to jump on my mam when I am soaking wet she doesn't find it so funny though? :) nevermind maybe she is scared of the sea I don't know .
We went up to the beach walk so I can dry off and have a good sniff on the grass i love it there I meet loads of new pals and Bikes wow they are great they come fast and spin and spin and I just want to play and I lunge at the wheels and crouch down and squirm along the grass soon as I see another one coming, my mam doesn't like this game she makes me sit and says No all the time I think she hopes Bikes will get boring for me lol. I am sleepy now catch you later Meg x
