Any kind of meat; eggs; treats! Loves to try to get meat out of a kong

Favorite Walk:
Anywhere outside!!! She has her nose to the ground most of the time while outside (it is the Beagle in her!). And if she sees a squirrel or a bunny she will go into a "point," standing very still for a long time... the only thing moving is her nose!

Best Tricks:
"Take a Bow!" and "Shake!" and "Down" and "Wait"

Arrival Story:
Emme is my very first dog... I never knew a thing about dogs, but knew I wanted one; a female dog. Found out that a friends dog was pregnant (it was an "oops" and the dog was spayed after the litter was born, etc). I volunteered to take a puppy. I had the pick of the litter, and chose Emme (sight unseen) because she was the last born and the only brown female... My grandma had a Beagle, so I was hoping Emme would turn out more like a Beagle. My sister took Emme's brother Bruno; another friend took Emme's sister Sadie; and a neighbor took Emme's sister Chloe.

Bio:
Emme is the sweetest, most perfect dog in the world. I have had her since she was 6.5 weeks old. She was easy to train and she is always very good. (Of course I had the great help of the book, "Puppies for Dummies!") I cannot believe her laid back personality. Her brother, Charley (who I adopted when Emme was 2) is exact opposite of her! hahahah!
