Arrival Story:
When I was newly married we got Haley from a backyard breeder. She was the runt of the litter and the cutest Beagle I had ever seen. Haley was my baby from November 1993 until July 2007. I had to put her to sleep due to kidney failure. She was my mother's "first grandchild" and is buried in my mother's backyard alongside Kona, her lifelong friend. With Haley and Kona's passing in 2007 it is as though an entire part of my life has ended. They will always be loved and missed. Haley was nicknamed the "butt dog" because when she was a little puppy and wagged her tail, her whole butt would wag. It was adorable! She would actually answer to the name "butt dog".
