Likes:
Mom!

Pet-Peeves:
Hates the car. Used to drool terribly but now tolerates it okay.

Favorite Toy:
Hurly squirrel is his absolute favorite but loves anything that I throw.

Favorite Food:
He loves all Mexican food - not that he gets it - too much gas!

Favorite Walk:
In the woods, there's lots of REAL squirrels there!

Best Tricks:
Heeling is by far the most excellent thing he does.

Arrival Story:
I got Chico from a breeder when he was 10 weeks old. Although I love my other dogs with ALL MY HEART, Chico is by far the closest to me. He knows exactly what I'm feeling and is so in tune with me. We definitely have a connection deeper then I've ever had with any of my dogs in my lifetime. I often say if I ever love a dog more then Chico it will break my heart in two.

Bio:
Chico has his UD (Utility Dog) & Otch (Obedience Trial Champion) titles and we are going to pursue herding and agility titles. He loves water and snow.He will make noises like a bear when I tell him to be a bear dog. This is the trick that everyone enjoys seeing him do the most. He'll get louder for a grizzly bear, high pitched like a momma bear, it's hilarious. He also loves to sing songs with his mom.

Well, we did pretty good at the dog show this weekend. It was a German Shepherd Specialty which means only German Shepherds were allowed to compete. We took 2nd place in the Open B class. This was my last Obedience trial so Mom is happy we went out on a good note!
Our plan is to go for our first Agility title this July. As long as it doesn't interfere with our summer camping plans. If it does, we'll wait for the fall trials. I'd rather be swimming up north and laying around the campfire with my pack anyway!

Spring is here! Yay!

Dallas and I have been enjoying quite a few more walks in the woods these days. Mom says something about it not being so muddy. Huh? I can say from experience, muddy means nothing but fun! Somehow Mom doesn't see it that way...After all, GOOD muddy paw prints are a work of art!

Pretty soon it'll be swimming weather and that's when the REAL fun begins. I can swim like a fish, if I do say so myself. Let me give you an example: Dallas is like a guppy while I'M like a shark. That should sum it up nicely ; )

Hope all you Dogster doggies are out and about enjoying all these good smells!

This weekend we competed at a dog show and I earned my Utility Dog title! I now have completed all my obedience titles! Once you do that, the Canadian Kennel Club gives you an "extra" title of Obedience Trial Champion, or "Otch" for short. Mom is SO proud of me! She keeps calling me the smartest dog in the world...
