Arrival Story:
Our Nanci passed away on Dec 1 and we also suffered a pregnancy loss in Feb. During those few months we had been talking about getting another dog. A friend of mine volunteers for Animal Compassion Network Rescue in Asheville, NC. They had an adorable cocker named Callie who had been rescued from a high kill shelter in TN. She has juvenile cataracts so we figure her owners didn't want her. She is the sweetest girl, I don't know how anyone could ever give up this dog. We love her so much!
