I have a job!

Hi Friends! I have a new job. My sister and I go to a nursing home and rehab to visit the people there. It is a very important job! Some of the people there used to have dogs and they miss them so much. Our little faces make them smile and laugh. We do some tricks to entertain them. I like to sit on their laps and they pet me. You should see how excited they get when we arrive! We can hardly get in the door before they want us to get to work. Today one of the nurses gave us ice cream (doggie ice cream) that she bought just for us! I love my job! MattieMay

Thank you for remembering my birthday!

Hi Friends!
Thank you so much for remembering my birthday. It means a lot to me that you haven't forgotten me! I wish my Mummy had more hours in the day to spend on her computer, but I'm glad she spends so much time with Sassy and me. We have play groups in our backyard and get to go hiking. We go to Meetups and have made lots of friends (in real life, not just here). So, I guess if Mummy chooses to spend time with us instead of here, that's a good thing. Still, I wish I could talk to you guys, as well. Thanks again, my friends. Maybe when it gets all snowy outside again, Mummy will have a bit more time for her computer stuff. Bichon Frise, a little, white, French dog.

Five hundred dollars. Cheap cuz I was returned to my breeder by my first human for being too hyper!

Distilled water for me, please. It keeps my face cleaner (no brown streaks).

Oh, I love to walk, except at the vet office.

I am full grown and weigh 10 pounds.

Q)Do you wear clothes?
Only if Mummy makes me. Usually a coat or sweater if the temperature is below 30 degrees F.

Q)Long or short hair?
I like to keep my hair neat so I am in a pet clip. I guess that may seem kind of long to some pups.

Q)Do you sleep with your mommy or in your own bed?
I sleep in my own bed. Mummy doesn't allow fluffs in her bed.

Q)What's your fave color?
White!

Q) Do you chase cats or play with them?
Well, I never met a cat face to face! There is one that comes in my yard. I chase him out. Mummy doesn't know if I'm trying to play with him, or not.

Q) On a scale of 1-10 how cute are you?
Oh, I'm an 11, of course!!! People can't resist picking me up and hugging me. And I love every minute of it. Cuz I'm a Diva Dog!

MattieMay on Dogs 101

Here is a link to the bichon segment on Animal Planet's Dogs 101. Mattie is the little bichon waving bye-bye at the end of it. She is also seen walking beside me (I have brown capri pants and an orange shirt) . Mattie is also the blitzing bichon in 2 parts where they talk about how "lively" and energetic bichons are.

I've Been Tagged

1. I love training classes at Canine Mastery Training Center. I've been in school for my whole life, practically. My favorite classes are agility, but rally O is pretty fun too.

2. My baby sister, Sassy, is my really sister. My pup mom and dad had another litter and my hu-mom decided to bring Sassy home to live with us. I like to play with her, but she can be a pest, too.

3. I have a new bichon cousin who lives with my Auntie Kath. Her name might be Lucy or they might change it. She has only been there a week and I haven't met her yet.

4. I love to sit on my hu-mom's neck and shoulders while she watches TV. She says I make a nice, warm pillow.

5. My favorite place to rest and reflect in up on the back of the sofa, looking out the picture window. When the sun is on that side of the house, it is heaven.

6. I was on TV, on Animal Planet. They filmed me for Dogs 101, the bichon segment. I'm the little one waving bye-bye at the end of the segment and the one blitzing really fast when they talk about energy!

7. I got a blue ribbon in agility competition when I wasn't even 2 years old yet!
