Best Tricks: Walk on hind legs, wave bye-bye, dance, bow;
Arrival Story: Mattie is from a breeder in Connecticut. She was bred for show but had crooked teeth. She was originally owned by a little old lady who thought she would be a lap dog. Mattie is boundless energy and so she was returned to the breeder. She became mine at 5 months of age.
Bio: Mattie loves agility and is quite good. She is called "The little Diva" because when I pick her up after a run, she waves her front feet to the audience! We are now visiting a nursing home to cheer up the patients there. My little girl loves the attention that she gets and passes out autographed photos to all her new friends.
Hi Friends! I have a new job. My sister and I go to a nursing home and rehab to visit the people there. It is a very important job! Some of the people there used to have dogs and they miss them so much. Our little faces make them smile and laugh. We do some tricks to entertain them. I like to sit on their laps and they pet me. You should see how excited they get when we arrive! We can hardly get in the door before they want us to get to work. Today one of the nurses gave us ice cream (doggie ice cream) that she bought just for us! I love my job! MattieMay
Thank you so much for remembering my birthday. It means a lot to me that you haven't forgotten me! I wish my Mummy had more hours in the day to spend on her computer, but I'm glad she spends so much time with Sassy and me. We have play groups in our backyard and get to go hiking. We go to Meetups and have made lots of friends (in real life, not just here). So, I guess if Mummy chooses to spend time with us instead of here, that's a good thing. Still, I wish I could talk to you guys, as well. Thanks again, my friends. Maybe when it gets all snowy outside again, Mummy will have a bit more time for her computer stuff. Lots of Licks, MattieMay~Diva-Dog!
