Birthday: February 9th 1996 Likes: his rubber/fleece squeaky ball toy from Petsmart and being around me Pet-Peeves: none Favorite Toy: rubber/fleece squeak ball toy Favorite Food: hamburger Favorite Walk: land and fields behind my house Best Tricks: playing dead Arrival Story: Sam was in the paper to be sold for 50.00 to a good home. When I went to the house I saw him at 4 years old on a logging chain out in the yard of a minister's home. His food was on the ground and he had a pie plate for water. He had a big doghouse though and was being fed quality food but the minister didn't want him in his house and he was moving anyway. He had been on that chain since he was a young pup. Fortuneately, Sam is a very friendly and loving dog with no ill effects from being on a chain. He will never be on a chain again. Bio: UPDATE: Sam was suffering from Degenerative Myelopathy. He ultimately became incapacitated and beyond any veterinary intervention so to end his suffering, I had to put Sam to sleep on June 26, 2005. My heart still aches as I miss him terribly.
I LOVE YOU SAM AND HOPE TO SEE YOU AT THE RAINBOW BRIDGE. I've Been On Dogster Since:
