Arrival Story: In 2003 I decided it was time to find a pal for Taz. He had lived in kennels before living with me and I had recently moved away from my college roommate after graduating. I looked through the newspaper and saw an add for a 12 week old springer spaniel. I went to meet him the next day and when I picked him up to hold him he instantly fell asleep in my arms. I brought him home instantly. Bio: Alex was born with four legs, but in an unfortuate accident broke his elbow and wrist when he was 13 weeks old. He was on a second floor balcony. While playing with Taz and a friends dog he some how slipped through the bars and fell. The location of the fractures, the nerve damage and callusing of the growth plates required that the leg be amputated. To this day I dont think he even knows that it is gone. He does everything just as well if not better than my other dog. However, he cant walk as long as Taz though. Forums Motto: Nothing holds him down.
