Arrival Story:
My mother had gotten Nitty when he was about 6 months old from a Marine who was being shipped overseas. She fell in love with Nitty instantly but after a few months i received a desperate call that i please please take him because he was diving her crazy. I had just put my last pit bull of 13 yrs to sleep a few months previous and was happy to have some new company-i accepted immediately. When Nitty was a puppy he was a holy terror. He never, ever ,ever stopped moving...and he usually was flying past with something in his mouth that he shouldn't have. On top of that, he had an obsession with being on you at all times. Not just close, but physically touching. It is now 5 1/2 years later and he has turned out to be quite the mellow guy. He, of course, outgrew his puupy craziness (but not until around 3 yrs old!) and is quite content in his chosen life as a lap dog and part time lifeguard for the backyard pool.

Bio:
Nitty has taught me the meaning of patience and the importance of consistency! He has also taught me the meaning of unconditional love, the wisdom of living in the moment and the joy of riding with your head out of the window.
