Arrival Story:
We saw her lounging on a chair in a store. We instantly fell in love with her quiet nature and velvet soft chunky head. The sales girl, Alex, told us she had rescued Lily and was looking to place her in a good home. After much deliberating and begging, my mom called Alex to say we'd take Lily.
Bio:
Alex had rescued Lily from her original owner due to neglect (she was pregnant and had a nasty case of hookworm). Even though Alex had two other dogs and two cats, she took Lily in, paid for all the vet bills to get her fixed up and nursed her back to health. When we adopted Lily, Alex refused any money and said it was enough to see Lily go to a loving family with a big backyard.
