Emi & Hana are staying with me for a week!

6/21/05 Day One:
Emi and I had fun watching Hana TP the bathroom. That toilet paper was all over! Then she dragged her water bowl from one end of the bathroom to the other, where it ended up in her bed. My mom was surprised to come home to that. I guess Hana would rather eat off the floor- she dumped her dinner out. We played all night long, took a nap, then played again.

6/22/05 Day Two:
Hey- don't these dogs know that the alarm clock will wake us up??? It's 4am! TOO EARLY to get up and play! Go back to sleep! *YAWN* Nothing too exciting happened during the day. We played all night again, took a little nap, continued to play, and went to bed.

6/23/05 Day Three:
They're learning... Today Emi and Hana wanted to get up at 5:30am. Maybe tomorrow they'll sleep until the alarm goes off. Hana, the little jumping bean, figured out how to jump over her gate. She seemed rather happy about that fact too. My Mom tried to barricade the top of the gate so she'd stay in there during the day... but when she came home, Hana greeted her at the door with Emi and I. Mom picked up a second gate on the way home from work. If Hana can jump two lengths of the gate, we'd all be impressed. Emi found a new toy- an empty water bottle. She was kicking it around and pouncing on it. Silly dog.

6/24/05 Day Four:
Getting better- they woke up at 5:45am today. I hope they know that tomorrow is Saturday, and that means we sleep in even longer! Hana figured out how to jump up onto the toilet, and knocked over some stuff that was on the bathroom countertop. *tisk, tisk*

6/25/05 Day Five:
*YAWN* 5:30am... No no no- go back to sleep!!! Ok- 10am- that's better! Now I'm ready to play with the pups. *WHEW* We played all morning long. Time for a nap! Tonight Emi and Hana chased each other all over the place. I am hiding under my mom's desk so they don't stampede over me. I tried to lie down in Emi's bed, but it's too small. We exchanged dinners tonight- I ate Emi and Hana's and they ate mine.

6/26/05 Day Six:
Emi & Hana thought about getting up at 7am, but they decided to sleep in until 9am. Oh- and Emi snores! Today Hana has been following me around, curling up next to me during naps... She's my little shadow. I made my mom shut the door to the bedroom so I could get some peace and quiet tonight. And when it was time for bed, Hana didn't want to sleep. She ended up in the bathroom for the night. Poor Hana.

6/27/05 Day Seven:
We all sleep until the alarm went off! Emi tried digging a hole to China on the couch tonight... Just scratched, scratched, scratched away. I don't get it??? What is she trying to do??? Just before bed, Hana discovered that once she gets up onto the toilet seat, she can even get up onto the countertop! Mom had to figure out a way to prevent that (another use for a scrapbook table). Hana didn't want to sleep again, so back to the bathroom she went.

6/28/05 Day Eight:
Once again, we slept until the alarm went off. I tried to tell Hana that her pee-pad doesn't belong in her bed. But into her bed it went along with her water bowl again. Hana must like sleeping in the bathroom, because once again, she didn't want to sleep.

6/29/05 Day Nine:
It's the last day of pup-sitting for me. Emi snored last night so I had my Mom leave me in the bedroom for a little bit this morning with the door shut so I could sleep in a little longer. Then I played with Emi and Hana until my Mom went off to work. ***Air Traffic Control: as of 2:45pm, Gma & Gpa were still on the runway in Boston, weather delays... They have missed their connecting flight in Newark, NJ...*** What does this mean- well, looks like the rest of the flights out of Newark have an overnight layover in another city, and arrive back in OC tomorrow morning. And one more night of pup sitting!!! (I guess I spoke too soon this morning)

6/30/05 Last Day:
I was so happy to see Gma today- I jumped up and got face to face with her! Emi and Hana were happy to see their mom and dad too. Hana showed them one of her new tricks- jump over the gate. They think Hana got bigger while they were gone. I wonder if I'll miss having them around? I think I heard something about seeing them this weekend and Boba too. I better get some rest!!!

Happy Mutt-her's Day!

Tomorrow is Mutt-her's Day and I will be heading out to my Grandma's house in Palm Desert to visit. I gotta get some rest because I'll be playing with my pup-pal Emi- boy do we like to play!
