Arrival Story:
I adopted Nancy along with her brother, Sid, from my local animal shelter. The people at the shelter told me they were found on a farm, in the woods, in an abandoned shed. Their mother was nowhere to be found when they were discovered. The minute I saw them I knew I had to adopt them together. They were cuddled together in their cage, and it had occurred to me that they had probably been taking care of each other since they were born. How could I possibly separate them??! When I brought them home, they were both very tired and sick, however, Nancy seemed to be much worse than Sid. I spent many many nights after many many vet visits crying and worrying over her and praying she would make it through her first few months and get stronger. Finally, she pulled through and before long, they were both playing and running around and making mommy very exhausted trying to keep up with them! They both have separate beds now, but I let them sleep in the same kennel if they are very good because they still like to cuddle together. It's obvious how much they love and rely on each other and I'm so happy I was able to adopt them together.

Bio:
Nancy is a very cuddly and lovable little girl. She loves to be held and have her ears rubbed. Mommy's lap is her favorite place to sleep. She will always be a little quieter and tire out easier than her brother, but she is very good at outsmarting Sid so I'm definitely not worried about her keeping up with him!
