Arrival Story:
Loo-Loo was removed from a puppy mill. She was one of the females used for breeding. She had spent almost all of her life in a crate. We applied to foster her while the case against the breeders was pending and when the owner decided not to pursue the return of the animals, we adopted her. Bio:
Loo still has trouble with the whole idea that "we don't go in the house", because she never had the opportunity to develop the instinct to keep her den clean. While this is frustrating sometimes, it is easy to overlook when we remember what her life was like before she came to live with us.

Last week mom brought in a puppy. He was kinda cute, a little hyper, but tolerable. Now, he hasn't gone home...what the @#$% is she doing to me!! I was perfectly content to lay on my pillow, eat my dinner, and poop when no one was looking.
Now, this bundle of energy wants me to PLAY! He nips and barks and chases me. He jumps on my back, chews on my collar, and tries to snooze on my pillow.
I don't know what mom was thinking. Just 'cause they say a puppy will breathe new life into an old dog doesn't mean the old dog wants that! Sure, I'm up and running around the house more, I'm trying to get away from that kid! Yeah, I get up and come when she calls...she's giving that little whippersnapper treats and I'm not above pandering for treats!
Okay, Mo' is cute. He looks up to me. He does follow me around and worship me like a rock god. He does get that yummy puppy food that I can sneak when mom isn't looking. Maybe this isn't so bad after all!!
Shhhh...don't tell mom. I'm getting a lot of mileage out of the baleful looks and the guilt trip that I'm giving her.
