Arrival Story:
My best friend in Pennsylvania had adopted her from the pound. She is the first animal I ever loved. My friend had a baby a few years into having adopted Rachel. Though Rachel is great with children, she was too big to be around her tiny daughter. She told me that she was going to give her away and I freaked. I told her that I would try and take her even though I lived in a 2nd story condo and had no yard. So I took her in with me in good old South Carolina. Later to find out... She was never going to give Rachel away. She knew I would want to take her and she wanted me to have protection being a single female 12 hours away from any and all family... The best trick anyone ever played on me! I LOVE HER SOOOOOO much!!!!!!!!

My Rachel was very loved. I would consider adopting, but not for a while.... I just miss her too much.

I just got diagnosed wit Cushing Disease....

My owner took me to the vet because i have had some very strange symptoms. I was drinking tons and tons of water... Getting food any way that I could... Climbing on counters breaking dishes... I couldn't help it. I am so hungry... Well, they did some tests on me and I have been diagnosed with Cushing Disease...

Mommy can't afford the medicine to fix me... Its lifelong and its $500 a MONTH. So much for all the ALL ORGANIC food she always gives me... I still got sick.

Mommy is very sad. So am I. But, we are glad we have each other.... She loves me so much... I love her too
