Christmas time!

Mommie and Daddy have been buying lots of stuff lately. It seems like they aren't home very much to play with me, and when they get back they have lots of bags. Then Mommie puts the stuff she buys in boxes and tapes funny colored paper to the boxes. There is this enormous tree in our house right now as well. I tried to sniff it a few times, but every time I get close Mommie or Daddy yells for me to get away.

Mommie and Daddy say we are going away to Papa and Nan-nan's house for the whole weekend. I hope so! When we go there, I have lots of space to run and play with Aunt Katie (toy poodle). Aunt Katie doesn't play as much as most dogs do. I think it is because she is a really old lady. Mommie tells me not to get too rough with her.

This past weekend, I got my first Christmas present of the year! Mommie and Daddy went out like usual, but when they returned, they had a brand new bed! It is a very soft bed and I like it much better than my old one, it was starting to smell. I hope that when we go to Papa and Nan-nan's I will get more Christmas presents!
