Birthday: November 17th 2006 Likes: Walks & Playing Pet-Peeves: people who spray her with water for barking Favorite Toy: Pinkie (pink rag) Favorite Food: Everything Excepts shrimp so far Favorite Walk: down back Best Tricks: STAY, drop it, sit, back-up, dance, lay down, talk, roll over, kiss, take it to-, Arrival Story: My daughter and son-n-law moved out of town and took my grandchildren, they had lived next door for 10 years - I needed a replacement.
After 30 years of not even caring for dog - She just was so adorable....
Trixy is our First dog, she was 5 weeks old when we brought her home, I Picked her from other family members.
Her daddy is a pure bread Papillion her mom is half long hair Chihuahua & half Pomeranian. Trixie is perfect!
(My daughter also took Bernard, Trixy's 1/2 brother, whom I was getting a little fond of too) Bio: After having Trixy for a year I have come to the conclusion Every person should have to raise a puppy teaching it at least 10 tricks Before ever having children. Though I'm a grandma I learned so much... They love you unconditionally and will do just about anything you want them to with the right teaching. The saying you get more with honey than vinegar is truer than I thought.
You also learn Patience and that practice makes perfect. If you never show negative - they don't learn negative.
The only thing I am still having a problem with - is she Barks so much. When she hears (or imagines she hears) any little strange noise. She also doesn't know when to quit saying "someone is at the door" or "hello" when the door is opened. I've been doing the spay bottle thing for a couple months, not sure if it is helping, maybe a little. Forums Motto: Please take me too.....
