Arrival Story:
I HAVE BEEN ADOPTED AS OF SAT JUNE 27, 2009 I have been adopted and am now in my new forever home. My new daddy gave mommy a hug before he left. Old mommy has gotten two updates on me so far. I am doing wonderfully and love my new home. But she knows at the moment it's honeymoon period and I as of yet do not understand I won't be going back home to her. I have everything and was already enrolled into obedience school with my new Family. Tues June 2, 2009 On Sunday mommy finally made the hardest decision to let me go to a new home. I will stay with mom until the rescue finds me my forever new family. In mom's heart I will always be her baby. But I am not meant for an aprt and I need a house with a yard to run in. Plus I am chasing the cats who are not happy the oldest has become depressed and has been since I got here basically. I have also now become just way too strong for mommy and she can't keep me from dragging her and Mommy has many bruises on her from having to fight to keep hold of me when I pull. She has prayed over it and knows the best decision is to let me go to someone who can control me and train me and help me even more with my behaviour Problems **Snuggles** To all my friends on Dogster/catster Mommy was given me as a early birthday/Christmas gift for the year of March 2008. I am a very dominant little girl and mommy has had to clamp down hard on me in the training and in the house as rules. But I love her so much and am becoming one of the sweetest girls although I still have my issues. Mommy has devoted all her time to me when I am awake during the day working on my training in and outdoors I still bark a lot at other dogs and pull when I see them. But hopefully in time that will change. I am a gorgeously loving girl and I just love my mommy. Just sometimes I get a little too wild and hyper. Mommy just keeps praying and praying that all this will change within the next month or two now and she hopes I learn my own strength soon and stop chasing the cats as my oldest Sister Autumn is scared of me and hides when I am awake and not in my bed.

Bio:
My New Daddy told mommy she did wonders with me I am now in my new home and will get the obedience training I need. I am doing well. I was adopted today on the 27 of June 2009 I am starting to make some headway mommy works with me Every morning Although I am still chasing Terucan and Autumn my cat sisters at times I am getting better I'm slowly beginning to learn that mommy is boss and that I am not to bite although sometimes I do but out of play or if I have fear.. I'm still afraid of mommy puts my walking collar on so sometimes she just leaves it on all day I don't really know my own strength so mommy really watches me with Terucan who is the only cat that will come out although stay out of my reach during the day.

Update on Freedom

Hi Everyone I wanted to let everyone know I've received a few updates from Freedom's new daddy.

Freedom is doing so wonderful. And she must think she's in Heaven. She is making many dog friends on her walks and also playing with two dog neighbours one which is a King Size Shepherd another which is a Lab. She is loving having her yard so much and being able to run and play off leash as well as her daddy has already got her walking off leash.

She did make a little run across the road the other day after a squirrel her dad didn't seem to see but fun is fun LOL.

She just loves her new home so much. She doesn't seem to be missing me. Although I do miss her and my aprt is now very quiet without her. But it seems to be like she just needed that free running space to calm her down so I know I did the right thing in letting her go to a place where she can have exactly what she needs.

She is starting to learn she isn't allowed to chase her cat brother she has there as well which is a very good thing. All in All Freedom is having a wonderful time. Her daddy has promised to try and send me a couple videos of her in a couple weeks or so once he's able to fix his computer which keeps crashing at the moment.

She gets to have many very long hikes and walks with her daddy too. When she plays with the other dogs and they play Frisbee she would much rather watch the other dogs get it and then herd them back ROFLMHO makes me laugh because that's just like her she has always loved to herd of course that is her breed both of them.

I'm just glad she's just doing so wonderful in her new home. I prayed over her and God has made it so she is stress free. Other then her throwing up the whole way to her new home because of the fear of the car due to the fact I don't drive so she didn't get many car rides. Even though I never fed her or gave her water before she went and gave her a gravol because it was her fear of the car it didn't help with the car sickness but they are also working on that fear via short car rides and I was told she is starting to get used to the car and get over her fear so hopefully that will stop her from getting car sick now.

Her daddy is also going to have her microchipped if he hasn't already and take her to obedience school. Which I think is just awesome.

I'm just praising God that she is doing so well and I want to thank everyone for helping me pray for her thank-you so much it was greatly appreciated God bless you all
Tara

HI Everyone I got adopted today as mommy types this I am on my way to my new home with my mommy and daddy. Awesome people too. And my new daddy told mommy for months to come he'll send her updates and pictures and is even going to open up a youtube acct so mommy can see videos of me too. Isn't that awesome?

Daddy gave my old mommy a hug before he left and said I'm sorry you have to give her up but thank-you for letting me have her.

I'm going to have a house now and a huge yard to play in as well. Isn't that awesome?

Well mommy is happy knowing that I've got myself a good home with good perfect people too. Although sad she had to say goodbye. Thank-you for everyone's prayers. Pls continue to pray that I will bond well and take well to my new home thank-you

I have an adopter coming to see me on the 27th

Hi Everyone thank-you for your prayers and keep praying.

On the 27th I have an adopter that is going to be coming here to see me. Pls pray that if they are the forever home and my new mommy and daddy for me that I will be able to adapt to them and bond to them too.

That I won't be so stressed out leaving my now mommy.

Mommy told me she's going to miss me and she loves me very much but that I deserve to be the dog I have the potential to be if I had training and a yard to run free in.

Mommy explained to me that she's letting me go because She knows I need more. And I need more walks too. And someone strong enough to walk me and I need to be socialized and have other doggy friends.

But she also told me that no matter what that in her heart I'd always be her baby and She would always love me and be praying for me.

As of yet I don't understand so pls pls pray for me pray that I will be ok with the move when the time does come and pray that these adopters that are coming to see me on the 27th will love me if they are to be my new forever home that they will be as patient with me and loving as mommy is with me and that they will never hit me.

Thank-you
Love
Freedom Star
