Arrival Story:
Update: Ruby went to the Rainbow Bridge on January 16,2010 after suffering a stroke. I was asked to foster Ruby as she was pulled from the Baldwin Park Shelter in LA. She was very sick when I got her and needed surgery - she multiple mammary tumors that needed to be removed. It took two surgeries and she did not do well in either of them, but we are happy to say she is disease free! After taking care of her for so long, it was impossible for me to give her up - yes I am a foster failure... What a sweet girl she is, she gets along with all animals, is convinced that if you are sitting, she should be on your lap and has beautiful manners. She loves little girls and riding in the car with me. I will be working with her to get certified to be a therapy dog - I want to let her work with children as she loves them.

Note from Ruby - My Mom is terrible at taking pictures, so please forgive these shots of me. I am much prettier than these pictures show. Mom has promised to get better shots of me soon.
