Arrival Story:
Blue was adopted from Animal Control by a very nice but very busy college student who later realized he had made a mistake. After searching for a new home for him for several weeks, the student finally decided to take Blue back to Animal Control. This student's parents live across the street and they know I do rescue work so they asked me to take him. I did and he is so sweet that he has never left. In fact I use him as my "ambassador" when I bring home a new dog. Blue never growls and is always friendly. He helps pave the way for the rest of the pack.

One of these days I going to get Blue temperment tested for therapy work. I know he'll be great!

Blue and I and the rest of the pack have been enjoying our lazy days during break. I love the opportunity to toss the ball and take long walks. Blue as always waits patiently for his turn at the fun stuff. There are no pet adoptions this week end either and I am looking forward to the break too. We managed to get all of the dogs that were in danger of being put down adopted.

The morning is clear and the pack is outside enjoying the sun and stretching their legs after being confined during the rain and bad weather. They are really enjoying themselves. I don't hear any barking. They bark when they are bored.

I think I'll get ready for a walk!
