   Leave a bone for Callahan

Nicknames:
Moosey or Moose

Quick Bio:
-purebred

Likes:
Going for long walks with Dad, a dog bisquit every morning, playing tug-of-war

Pet-Peeves:
Toenail trimmimg, strangers, Teufel (mini Schnauzer), chewing on his leg!

Favorite Toy:
Anything that is stuffed and still has the "squeaker" in it to tear out

Favorite Food:
bisquits, Pedigree dry kibble, bones (even though they make him sick sometimes) steak & eggs

Favorite Walk:
Around the block and along the canal with Dad

Best Tricks:
He lays on his side, puts his front paws together and really gets into "rowing", especially when we sing "Row, row, row your boat". . .an every day workout for him!

Arrival Story:
We chose him from a litter of at least 10. He was a little ball of fur with just enough spunk to win our hearts. My husband also saw that he is descended from a Rottweiler (Attilla the Ton of the Rings), who was owned by a long time friend.

Bio:
Callahan's full registered name is "Callahan's Make My Day II", in reference to Clint Eastwood's Dirty Harry roles, a favorite of my husband. "Moosey", as we lovingly call Callahan, is exceptionally tall (37" from top of head to toe) and very sleek. He has been raised with our mini Schnauzer, Teufel and still thinks when he hides his head in the cushions on the sofa, you can't see him! When sitting, he can lay his head on the dining table, and often does, looking at you with those great cow eyes!

Our beloved Callahan passed away quietly early on September 20, 2009. He was eleven years young and the most loving, gentle and regal Rottweiler anyone could know. He will forever be in our hearts and part of our most treasured memories. He brought a level of true class to this elegant breed. Thank you Callahan for being such a good boy. We love and miss you.

Love,

Mom, Dad and brother, Teufel
