Arrival Story: My dream was to always own a Chocolate Lab, I finally convinced my husband to have a dog, and we adopted Murhphy, who was a 5 week old puppy when we picked him out. We got to bring him home when he turned 7 weeks old. Well, long story short, he did not make it and he crossed the bridge when he was 9 weeks old. (unknown why) So we had to get another puppy right away, and I said that Murphy, would be my only Chocolate Lab, so we decided to get a Black Lab and we found the love of our life, Capone. Murphy will never be forgotten.
Bio: I am a pure breed, Black Labrador Retriever. I weigh 88 lbs and full of energy. I love my parents, I must say I am quite spoiled. My Grammy loves me too, but sometimes she thinks I am too rowdy for her, so I try to be calm, but I can't because I get so excited to see her. She always brings me a goody bag, and when Mommy and Daddy have to leave me, I get to stay with Grammy and Pappy. I sleep between Mommy and Daddy every night. Mommy is my favorite, but don't tell my dad that. I am what you say a Mommy's boy for sure. Because she always gives me treats. Momalso taught me how to ring the bell to go outside.

Pet Peeves: I guess I do have a couple of pet peeves. I do not like mommy's sweater shaver, she will chase me with it and I go crazy, and the blowdryer too.
Happy Birthday to me!! Well today is my Birthday and mommy took me to PetsMart to get groomed. I must say I look very handsome. All of the girls were kissing me! I love that place!!! I got to pick out some toys and mom said that Grammy is coming over today to give me my Birthday present, I think it's another BOBO because I ripped up my other BOBO, and Grammy knows how much I like them. Oh yeah I forgot to say how old I was. I turned two years old today. I am considered an adult now, so mom thinks I will settle down a little. Are you kidding me, I'm a Lab mom. Nice try!!!
Well I survived a week with my aunt Denise and who else Harley and Buster. I must apoligize, I was so tired the last couple of days to write in my diary, that I have been sleeping non stop, since mom and dad picked me up. I didn't realize how tired I was until I was home , relaxed and alone. I was so busy over at Grammy's house, that the only time I got to sleep was at night, of course it took me awhile to go to sleep, because I am so nosey and had to make sure where everybody was. I had a lot of fun, but I missed my afternoon naps daily.
It is finally spring time here in Ohio. Mom and I have been walking at night. It's nice to smell the fresh air. I am going to the vet today (mom told me) to get checked yearly for heartworms, mom promised me a walk when we get home.
Off to sleep now. Dad is still sleeping so the bed is warm. Adios!
Well I guess tomorrow my parents are leaving. My mom keeps telling me I get to go to Grammy's house, but I wait for her to get my collar and leash and she never does. I wait by the door patiently, but when she sees me she is saying something, but I just don't understand. Am I going to Grammy's or what mom?
I guess they will be gone for a week, what am I going to do??? I guess my dad's friend which I call (Uncle Brent) is going to watch me from Mon-Thurs. This should be fun! I think I will take advantage of him. I hope my parents have fun, they need it. I wonder if they have anything for me in Mexico, mom said they don't have any doggie treats down there but she will look to see if she can get me anything. Alright, well I guess we will not be online again until we get back. Bark Bark.
