Bub is a good at sensing feelings, if I'm upset she will sit pretty much on top of me and lick tears away, if I'm angry she just runs away and stays out of my way (she does not like yelling or loud noises) she is so effectionate in bed we cuddle, she loves spooning and will always sleep on the other pillow... or mine :| hahahaha

Last Friday (27th June 2008) we found a lump in DeeJays neck and hind leg, these lumps were not there a week before, as a concerned owner she was taken to the vet to make sure everything was right, the vet was unsure and wanted to take samples to clear things up. The tests came back that afternoon and told us that DeeJay had Cancer of the Lymphnodes and was sadly put down Saturday morning (28th June 2008). My mum and I decided to have her cremated so we could keep her in our home and hearts for ever.
DeeJay was the best dog we had ever owned, it was only be coincidence that we recieced her as a 3yr old when her owner was convicted and again by coincidence suddenly taken away from us, she was the highlight of every day, she was my best friend, the one who was always sad to see me leave and happy to see me come home.
Bubba came home today (3rd July 2008) in a rose wood box and velvet bag with the ingraving DEEJAY SLEMMINGS rest in peace bubba girl 00/08, it feels good to have her home again :)

What i want to tell other pet owners, is that if you feel something different in your beloved pet please get it checked out, even if it is nothing.

Cherish each moment :)

Today I heard Naysa (owner) talk to some one on the phone about having a check up about a lump, then I heard her say my name (gulp!) then they started talking about a toe... i figured maybe they were talking about my toe, well rather my toe they took away from me. I had a syst on it a month or so ago, and it had to be removed. i remember that day once I got home, I was still all druggy and sleepy and Naysa had the camera out taking pictures of me, it was the last thing I needed but she kept laughing for some reason then I heard her say "mum, look at bubba's tounge" (it tends to hang out when im tired... Don't laugh ok!!!
So basically it looks like I'll be heading to the vet soon again. :(
