Likes:
Me. And secondly, herself. Food, Lounging in my bed, Being tucked in, and otherwise cuddled and treated like a queen. (Her store is at: http://www.cafepress.com/beautiful dogT if anyone's interested.)

Pet-Peeves:
Jealously over the attention I spend on my grandmother or anyone else. Dislikes dog beds; a lovely gift of a jumbo sized blue bone -shaped bed was shown to be generously appreciated when she ripped it to smithereens and peed all over it.

Favorite Toy:
Me, of course. Or anything stuffed that doesn't belong to her. Playing with "toys" takes on new meaning in HER paws --for the stuffed toy, inevitable destruction awaits; Tina adores cloth --she usually adores destroying blankets and expensive clothing.

Favorite Food:
Everything except most vegetables or anything as healthy as Hill's science diet. Not that she refuses her dog food, of course ... but she seems rather perturbed if we don't acknowledge the fact she's "human" and should always eat at our dining table...

Favorite Walk:
On my bed or on the table or a chair, or anywhere else she knows is taboo

Best Tricks:
Jumping, jumping, running, jumping, high jumping, jumping, and more jumping (circus dog style)

Arrival Story:
I found her wandering around in the flowerbed beneath my bedroom window one dark, late evening with the next door neighbour's dog 'Turbo'...she was half-starved, somewhat abused, & either homeless or obviously devoid of a HEALTHY, HUMANE home. I figured she could be classified as a stray, & I naturally chose to take care of her... Especially since we had an instant mutual liking for each other. We're still together...and very, very VERY happy and close. She's truly loyal, that's one great thing about her for sure...she's proved to be one of my best friends.

Bio:
Tina passed on peacefully July 6, 2005 between 8:30 a.m and 9:00 a.m in the morning. Although she had healed and recoved somewhat from an operation weeks earlier to remove a dangerous and presumably cancerous lump from her breast, she gradually deteriorated until she couldn't keep down food or water. She died a natural death and she didn't seem to be in much pain, just tired and weak. She was really stoical throughout all our efforts to heal and help her; and will always be remembered as a loyal, appreciative, loving, caring and stoical dog, among other wonderful qualities. She was truly my best friend.
