Gotcha Date: September 27th 2007 Birthday: June 20th 2007 Likes: Treats, toys, and going for car rides/walks. Hanging out with his best friend Angel. Pet-Peeves: hiding his toys Favorite Toy: anything stuffed or squeaky. Favorite Food: Taste of the Wild. Favorite Walk: The park where he can see other dogs and people, and the dog park in charleston. Best Tricks: he is always learning new tricks. Each one better than the last. Arrival Story: I found Quincy on Petfinder.com the shelter people had named him Bacon. I wanted a jack russell Chihuahua mix (I met one when I was young and fell in love with the mix) for a long time and finding one wasn't easy in my area. While browsing my local animal shelters page on petfinder at 4 in the morning I stumbled across Quincy and immediately fell in love with him. I stayed up all night waiting for the shelter to open at 9 am. As soon as I could I drove down to the shelter and talked to one of the workers and filled out the paperwork. I sat down with Quincy in the shelter. He sat in my lap and went to sleep. A few days later I got a call that all the paperwork had gone through and I could pick up Quincy at the local vets the next afternoon. Quincy has been the best thing to happen to me. He goes everywhere with me. Forums Motto: Lets go! Lets go! Lets GO! I haven't written in a long time. Mom just forgets to log me on for the most part. New news, mom and I might be moving to Charleston Wv. the place she is looking at is less than a mile from the dog park we go to down there and there is even a doggy daycare center for me to go to while she's at school or work. I'm really excited but at the same time I'm not sure. I've always lived in this small town where I have a yard and plenty of room to do whatever. What if I'm not a good city dog? The building has some grass outside but there is no chance I could go out off leash like I do here. It's on the corner of two busy streets. Idk. We'll see.
so last week Mom took me and my fur-cousin Angel to Cedar Lakes but we didn't go where we normally go. We went down the hill past the lake instead of up it. I was super confused, but then a girl Mom knows showed up. This new girl had two, count 'em TWO, new doggy friends for me to play with. They're two girl hound mixes names Roxie and Cally. I was ready to go play! I was so busy trying to play with Roxie and Cally that I didn't notice when Cami and her dog Miley showed up. After everyone had used the bathroom and finished talking (humans can talk forever) we went for a short walk and ended up nst to a really wide creek. It was awesome it had a really deep hole that the big dogs could swim in and a bunch of shallow sand bars for me to play on. Mom didn't even make me wear my life jacket, and all us doggies got to play OFF LEASH! I love being off leash with other dogs. Mom said we will try and go play in the swimming hole with the other dogs once a week. She even said we might invite more people and their dogs as long as they are well behaved. Got to go Moms making home made frosty paws! YUM!
