Dear diary
I am getting a new baby brother...a black lab...now, I have tried herding the cats at home and it doesn't work too well, for some reason they won't bunch together???
So, I was wondering if labradors are good to herd?
Anyway, I will let you know once the pup comes home.
Write you soon!

Dear diary
I had my second elementary obedience class this Saturday. Mommy has already done this class with Ozzy and Freya so she has just been teaching me everything I need to know for the exam, so we are a bit ahead of the rest of the class...
Anyway, one of the things mommy already taught me is the 'closer' command, where I come to her and sit straight in front of her with my head leaning against her tummy. We were practicing before the class started, and our instructor, Sonja, saw us.
We started the class with some warm up heel work and then Sonja said to the class, 'Today we are going to teach your dogs the 'closer' command, the border collie will demonstrate". Then she turned expectantly to me and mommy. The guy standing next to mommy was saying, 'No pressure!'. Well, I felt a little bit nervous with the eyes of the whole class me me, but I was great, I did a beautiful 'closer' and the class gave me a round of applause, I felt so good! Mommy gave me a big treat and told me I am a great dog.
