Arrival Story: I live with my Nanny now. My mama was murdered on July 1, 2008. That is the day my Nanny's heart broke. I was with her when she died but I can't tell Nanny what happened to her. Some mean person left her body in a ravine and she was not found until the next day. Nanny knows that I would have stayed with my Mama if they would have let me, but the mean person took me to another town and left me in a field. They took me out of my doggy purse and took off my collar and left me. From what Nanny can figure out, I made my way to an apartment complex and the person who found me took me to the shelter. It is good for me that my Nanny volunteered at that shelter. When she found out that I was not with my Mama she began looking for me. She said that I was my Mama's baby and she needed to find me. She kept looking online and saw me almost as soon as my picture was up. Then she went to the shelter and got me out. I was so happy to see her. I was so scared. I had been through so much and Nanny knew that my Mama would want her to take good care of me.
