Yes, it has been a long time since I updated Cooper's status.
There really is no change, he still can't walk. Can't pee on his own, and really has no control over the poop thing, either. Well, sometimes, I think he knows he is going to poop, and tries to tell me.
He can really get that tail moving, though. And sometimes, his legs will twitch, and get stiff. I still do the bicycle exercises with him. And we got to swim some this summer, too.
I have not given up hope that he will walk again, but if he doesn't, well, he is perfect just the way he is!!!
Haven't updated Cooper's status in a while, just no big changes to talk about.
He still can't walk, and he still can't pee on his own. Although, sometimes, he can start to go, just can't stop. I like to believe that is a step in the right direction. I know reoover, if it comes, is a long process.
We still swim in the tub, and I still do his bicycle exercises. I feel resistance from his legs when we do those. But when we swim, I really don't see much change.
He has adjusted much better than myself or James. But I suppose that is just the way it is suppose to be.
We go for walks on the river, and Cooper just loves it, he always did.
Today is his 3rd birthday, and he is having a ball with all his birthday gifts. Especially those from Auntie Stacey, Braxton & Mario ( his favorite is the piece of cake, you'd think it was real!)
We will keep on working, and praying, so if you still check up on Cooper from time to time, remember him in your pup prayers!!
