Arrival Story:
When Bear became sick with lymphoma, I started looking to get another dog so that I would not be alone when the inevitable came. I met Frannie and loved her instantly, but the rescue group wanted to me to take her that very day, and I couldn't due to several factors factors. I asked if they could hod her until the next weekend, but was told they had another home approved that wanted her also. I had to pass on her. I lost Bear 8 days later. I called the rescue group to let them know, as Frannie's foster mom and I had a good report, and told her about Bear's passing and to keep an eye out for a dog that I might like that would fit my needs. As it happens, the other home had passed on her also and Frannie was still available! I brought Frannie h0me that following weekend and she has helped me so much in ther healing process after losing Bear. She's my very own therapy dog. =)
