Arrival Story:
I received an email on a Thursday night showing a bunch of dogs that were going to be euthanized from Coweta, Georgia, the next morning. I wanted to save them all, but I could only afford to get one. I called Kirby, a rescue coordinator for Coweta Kids, (and she lives in Conneticut!) and told her I wanted the puppy. Kirby worked tirelessly through the night, in hopes of finding someone to get her out of the shelter. Kirby reached Kaye, a wonderful woman in Georgia, who agreed to get Hope out. There were nine dogs total, and believe it or not, they got eight out. Hope went from the shelter to a vet's clinic, for her shots. Now, we are waiting for her to come home. She is still in Georgia, but there is a transport coming to Iowa, and I believe she will be on it (Thank you for fitting her in, Kelly). I don't know how many tears of sadness, relief, and joy I have cried in this ordeal, but it will all be worth it when she gets home.

Mommy worked with me for only 15 minutes today, and I learned how to sit that fast! I probably won't remember it tomarrow, but I did it tonight!

Hello, y'all! I have finally made my way from Georgia to Iowa! I have lots of friends here all ready! How exciting! Yesterday, I had to go to the dogter and get spayed...not sure what that means, but I'm tired today, and I hurt a little. But it's ok cuz I'M HOME!
