Arrival Story:
Rocky came to his forever home to live with his new older sister, Roxxie!! Roxxie and her parents are so excited! WELCOME HOME ROCKY!!! 4/18/08 Rocky met his new vet, Dr. Sam, last night. It was a good visit. Rock weighed 108.3 - so he's gained 5.3 pounds since he's been here. Doc likes his diet (blend of Royal Canin Adult and Puppy) for the next few months. Thinks he can stand to put on another 15-20 lbs. The spots on his coat (likely Demodectic Mange) are filling in, so we're not going to worry too much with them as long as they continue to improve. Rock's overall health is good - he's scheduled for neuter & gastropexy next Friday. He's such a happy, good-natured, well-adjusted boy! The PERFECT addition to our home! May 2008 Neuter/gastropexy is behind us now! Whew! Trying to keep this kid calm and quiet while he healed was WORK! He's really settled in now. Loves jumping up on the bed in the morning and snugging into Dad's spot while it's still warm. Loves car rides - anywhere. He is a reliable bakery snack tester. Mostly, he just loves playing with his big sister all day long. He is such a great dog!

Bio:
Rocky was surrendered to OTTR by his family who was no longer able to care for him properly. He has always been very well taken care of and loved by humans. He is one of the sweetest boys you could ever ask for. He has been very well trained and listens amazingly well for only being 1 yr. old. He is very new to OTTR so -- check back often for updates on this handsome fella!
