Arrival Story: Buzz passed away and took my heart with him on 5/4/2008. He had a bleeding tumor on his liver and he only had days to live. We hired a Vet to come to our home and put him to sleep on our patio in the sunshine surrounded by the people that love him most. I have lost a piece of my heart with his passing and I miss him everyday. I want to see his beautiful face again. I know he is waiting for me on the other side where I can hug him once more and get my "soft kiss" that I miss so much.
Bio: When Buzz' previous owners' son went away to school and they opened up a new business, they found that Buzz was getting left out in the backyard all the time by himself. When they met me and they hoped that as a dog trainer I would be able to give him a good home. It was the best gift I ever recieved and the best decision I every made. I adopted Buzz at nine years old and he is wonderful. He is especially great when we go on dog aggression lessons. He is so brave and trusts me completely. He lets the other dog see that he is not interested in them and gives them the time to calm down so they can learn to ignore dogs that they don't care for. His previous owners rescued him from a local shelter on Christmas Eve for their four year old son. Buzz was just 6 weeks old and he had Parvo. They did not expect him to live, but they could not say no to their little boy who intantly fell in love with Buzz. So Albert (the Dad) slept on the floor with him for four days straight, making sure Buzz drank water and took his medicine. Buzz made a full recovery! Love and determination wins again!
