Arrival Story:
I searched Pet Finder.com on a whim one night...knowing at some point I wanted a small dog to travel with since Colby had a buddy and traveling all the time with two loveable labs just wasn't in the cards....As I searched 4 pages of baby Roni's I kept coming back to this particular breeder. I had concerns since he was not expensive and worried about healthiness. But something told me "Do It"....so I did...And boy I have not been been disappointed. Smart, loving, energetic, great traveler and companion....Hasn't figured out he is not a lab yet....Hmmm don't think he will either...He is protective and becomes "On Guard" with such an intensity that the humans make great effort to not chuckle!!! It is hard as he is so darn cute....He has a tiny little white spot under his chin that makes him distinct....His size is smaller than the norm for his breed but as you can tell it is perfect as he fits in the basket that is on my bike.....He has a GF in Henniker named Rosie who he adores!! When he runs he is Va Va Vooom, like speed racer...his legs moving so fast you can barely see them and his ears pop up and down which just add to the cuteness!!! His coloring is Brindle and when he is not dressed up his coat is gorgeous...His lower lip sticks out and is even more noticeable when he is being intense about his "Bone Time" with Grammy!! He loves the labs though since he nips at their hind legs they are none too pleased with him...He walks in the room they leave...Not a good sign!! LOL Though Daisy his other sister acts like a "Mum" to him....and will pick him up in her mouth which at first we thought she took the whole snack idea a little literal....LOL We again feel so blessed to have him...Our "Fur" just rules...
